Dozens of French yachts and hundreds of crew have arrived in Guernsey for a sailing regatta.
About 65 boats carrying 300 crew members sailed into Victoria Marina as part of Le Télégramme Tresco Trophée.
The regatta is the first of a series of events scheduled to take place in Guernsey's marinas over the summer.
Organisers said it was the 42nd year members of the Yacht Club de Morlaix in Brittany had taken part in the race, with more than 25,000 visitors coming to the island from France over the years.
The yachts are due to sail on to Perros-Guirec on Saturday morning
